Artist Bio
Ryan Geschwindt is a self-taught photographer living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Ryan has combined his interest in nature and outdoor activities with his interest in fine art and photography. On a trip to the Southwest in 2001, Ryan backpacked the Grand Canyon with his mother. During the early-morning return hike to the rim, Ryan found the perfect image, which was captured with a pocket sized digital camera. Ever since this experience, Ryan has had a passion for capturing nature's beauty. Many of Ryan's images come from Bucks County and rural Berks County, where Ryan grew up.
Ryan uses digital imaging processes to create photographic prints of fine quality. These techniques can be used to create large photographs with incredible detail and sharpness. Ryan uses light to reveal the texture and intriguing details found in nature. Many rewards come from managing the whole process, from the capture of the image, to the framing of the print. Attention to detail is the essence of the Ryan's artwork. Many photographs in Ryan's portfolio exhibit a vivid and colorful palette. These photographs will definitely bring some color and style to your home.
Ryan currently lives with his wife, Cindy, in Doylestown, Bucks County. He is currently showing artwork in An Enchanted Florist and Mima and Company, both in Doylestown, PA. Ryan is also exhibiting at the Swan Gallery, Jenkintown, PA.
